Reliable receiving and processing

The Form.taxi backend handles the data transfer of your online forms and takes care of processing and saving the form entries. The backend offers a range of practical functions for the competent processing of each HTML form.

Each HTML form can be quickly and easily connected to our backend by entering a sending address. The form can be structured with the desired input fields in any scope and design. Form.taxi provides the sending address and thus enables the form entries to be processed and saved when the form is sent.

Files such as photos and documents can be sent along with the connected form. Our backend accepts these and saves them together with the form entries. The files can be downloaded at any time in our panel or in the notification emails. This file transfer function is available with storage space from the Standard plan upwards.

Our sending process is available in different languages. Select the desired language in Settings according to your website. This will display any messages and text output to users of your online form in the appropriate language. These languages are currently available: German, English, Portuguese, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Dutch.

After submitting the form, the user is shown our default success message as confirmation. Alternatively, you can set up your own webpage with a success message. Once you have entered the web address of this page in our settings, it is automatically displayed to the user after the form has been successfully submitted.

Optionally, the function for automatically sending a confirmation message to the sender of the form can be activated. This message is sent to the e-mail address entered in the form. The content text, email subject and sender address can be customized in the settings to address the user appropriately. This function is available from the Standard plan upwards.

Responsible handling of all data collected and sent is particularly important to us. We comply with the provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and no data is passed on to third parties beyond the use of the service. The data is processed and stored within the European Union. Further information can be found in the privacy policy.

Reception by e-mail

New form submissions are sent to you directly by e-mail. This message contains the form entries and allows you to respond directly to the sender. This notification can be sent to one or more e-mail addresses. The reply address and the mail subject are set automatically by Form.taxi or can be defined in the settings. All settings can be easily made in the panel.

Spam defense

Best protection

Form.taxi offers the best possible protection against spam mailings with a well-founded set of techniques, thus preventing your forms from being misused for advertising and fraudulent mailings.

The desired protective functions can be activated and set for your form in the panel. You can find detailed information on use in the documentation.

Our in-house spam filter automatically recognizes advertising mail and sorts it out into the spam folder. The transmitted form entries are analyzed by the filter and checked for known patterns and content. The filter works fully automatically and becomes increasingly reliable over time thanks to the machine learning used.

With the setting of authorized domain names, the sending process checks whether the form was sent from a website with an authorized domain. If it is a different domain, the submission is filed in the spam folder.

A honeypot is a hidden input field in your form. If this field is sent with content, this is a clear indication that the form was sent by a bot and not by a regular site visitor. In this case, the submission will be filed in the spam folder.

This function checks the e-mail addresses entered in the form for technical availability. Addresses for which no mailbox is available or for which no delivery is possible for any other reason are identified as invalid and therefore classified as spam.

Optionally, you can activate a captcha check in the settings. This means that the user is shown a captcha after submitting the form. The form will only be sent if it is solved correctly. This ensures with a high degree of reliability that the form submission was not triggered by a computer program (bot).
